Even though the Duc 848 is a fine sportbike, if you've never owned a motorcycle before, you should start with a small dirt bike or small displacement street bike to learn how to shift, brake, avoidance steering etc., or in other words make the mechanical operation of riding a bike instinctive before riding a high performance street bike.
